Where Do I Come From?

Well, when a Mommy and a Daddy really like each other... Just kidding.

Potentially Boring content below. Feel free to skip.

I'm 4th of 5 kids. 4 of us still living. From top to bottom, girl, boy, girl, then me, and lastly boy. We're all 3-4 years apart. Just enough to not be rivals, but also enough to not to be close. I grew up in Virginia from the tip of the South. From my house, go north and you'll see city people but go south there are empty barns with antique farm equipment. My mom stayed home and took care of the kids and her spare time was usually donated to the local cub scouts program. Lots of work, but she loves it. My dad's a Marine, well retired, but you know what they say, "Once a Marine, always a Marine." Don't let the military background fool you, he's a softy. Oldest girl passed away before I was born, but I know she's still around watching over us. Oldest boy lives in Maryland with his wife and 3 kids. Yup, I'm Uncle Ben. Such good rice... Anyway. The girl just older than me works with mentally handicapped children and helps them learn life skills. Lots of patience and love from that girl. Youngest boy lives in Virginia with my folks as the hilarious golden child. Now that you've roughly met my family, I'll tell you a little more about me.

I took the personality color code test and I'm predominantly yellow, white, and blue. Yes, they were all within a few points of each other. Very little red, but I get along great with reds. I'm unemployed, but a full time student. Perhaps I might graduate someday.
I like sleeping in, overeating, eating before bed, running, but not into sports. I still like potty humor, laughing the good belly laughs, eating honey flavored greek yogurt, bobbing my head to music, dancing like an idiot, making other people smile, and I really love those magical moments in life when you get the overwhelming feeling of "I'm supposed to be here." I figure that should suffice for now.

STOP- for those of you that skipped, you may read the following to understand the purpose of this blog.

I don't usually read other people's blogs because I have a short attention span. I'm determined to keep these posts short, and entertaining. You'll soon learn, I live for the fun of it. So, my goal with this blog is to post what it's like to break into song out in public. We see it in musicals all the time, and apparently it's totally normal to them. I want to see what it's really like to randomly break out into song. So, I'll be using all sorts of songs such as radio tunes, musicals, maybe some a cappella stuff, and possibly but not limited to some patriotic tunes. I hopefully won't be the star of all of these because I do know some amazingly talented people I'd love to spotlight.

Well, that's that. If it's slightly vague, sorry. It's an intro. I'll just let the music speak for itself.
